Technology Internalization
We study original technologies for the digital transformation of diverse
finance mediums of the future.

DATA SCIENCE: HIT uses big data from inside and outside HFG to develop algorithms, create new services and facilitate the decision-making process.

AI QUANT: We research technologies that utilize artificial intelligence to efficiently increase customers’ assets. We are currently working on quantitative investing that can produce robust profits at various stages of the economic cycle and a personalized portfolio that recommends the allocations best-suited for an individual’s risk preference and financial goals.

AI PLATFORM: AI platform studies and develops platform technologies that apply HIT technologies to the field with machine learning technology to support the planning, development and operation of diverse data analysis models. This area also includes accumulation and R&D on platform technologies that make up the foundation of everything from data analysis modeling methodologies to efficiency of data modeling algorithms, automated operation, and internalization.

NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING: Natural language processing studies technologies that help machines understand human language, or “natural language,” written and/or verbalized by the customer. It researches and develops methodologies on how to process or systemize linguistic elements, practically applied to conversational AI technologies(for Q&A systems and chatbot operations), and text mining, which recognizes knowledge and/or data in documents.

COMPUTER VISION: Computer vision studies technologies that detect, recognize, and classify parts of an image and understand such images. It is the basis for AI development projects throughout the range of automation and streamlining in finance.

KNOWLEDGE ENGINEERING: Knowledge engineering studies the foundational technologies that efficiently convert HFG’s data into usable knowledge. This area involves research on providing diverse knowledge-based services (conversational AI chatbot, AI counseling robot [substituting for a human employee], etc.).

DT STRATEGY & PLANNING: DT Strategy & Planning involves strategic research on digital mega- trends and finance DT and analytical research on the effects of DT on industry. It designs DT technology projects and operates processes on HIT’s vision and outcome management.
